How Do I Book a Trip?
We offer two convenient booking options:
EFT Payment: Make an electronic funds transfer (EFT) using our banking details provided on your invoice.
Online Booking: Secure your spot via our website using your credit/debit card through PayFast, a trusted and secure payment gateway.
What Does “Per Person Sharing” Mean?
This means the quoted price applies per individual sharing a room with another person (partner, friend, or group member).
Single Travelers: If you prefer your own room, a single supplement fee will apply.
Do You Have a Calendar of Trips and Events?
Yes! Our Yearly Travel Calendar is available under the Packages tab on our website.

What Happens After I Pay My Deposit?
Please email or WhatsApp your proof of payment so we can confirm your booking and send your travel confirmation pack.
Are Children Allowed on Trips?
We welcome families! However, some trips may not be child-friendly due to activities or destinations.
Family Getaways: We occasionally plan family-oriented trips.
Legal Requirement: Children under 18 must travel with unabridged birth certificates as per South African law.
How Long Are Your Trips?
Local Trips: Typically 3–4 days (e.g., Thursday–Sunday).
International Trips: Usually 7–10 days.
Custom Trips: We can tailor the duration to your needs (price will vary).
Can You Organize Extra Activities?
Yes! We can arrange additional activities outside the set itinerary at your own cost. We’ll also provide a list of optional activities for your destination.
What If I Need to Cancel My Booking?
Cancellations are subject to our Cancellation Policy. We recommend finding a replacement traveler to avoid penalties (a small admin fee applies). Flight bookings may incur additional charges.
How Much Spending Money Will I Need?
Budget R1,000–R1,500 per person per day, depending on destination and personal habits.

Can I Travel Alone?
Yes!
Option 1: Share with another solo traveler (same gender).
Option 2: Pay a single supplement for your own room.
What If We Are a Group of Three?
Triple rooms are only available if one traveler is a child under 15. For three adults, we suggest:
One single room (extra cost), or
Pairing with another solo traveler.
Do You Offer Child Discounts?
Unfortunately, no. Children require their own seat and bed, and suppliers charge full rates.
When Is Full Payment Due?
The balance is due 30 days before departure, unless otherwise arranged.
Can Non-South Africans Join Your Tours?
Absolutely! You’ll need to meet us at the departure point in South Africa and ensure your travel documents are in order.
Do You Assist with Visa Applications?
Yes, we provide guidance and required documents. However, you must submit your application and attend the appointment yourself.
How Long Does Visa Processing Take?
Typically 3–15 working days, but approval is not guaranteed.
Do You Offer Customized Tours?
Yes! Perfect for groups, corporate retreats, or special occasions.
Can I Extend My Stay After the Tour?
Yes, subject to airline availability and additional costs.
Can You Quote Accommodation Only?
Can a Trip Be Cancelled?
Trips require minimum numbers to run. In rare cases, we may cancel or modify due to unforeseen circumstances or force majeure (e.g., natural disasters, political unrest).
If cancelled, we’ll offer a future travel date.
No refunds for force majeure events.
Do I Need Travel Insurance?
Yes, we strongly recommend it. Insurance is not included in the tour price.
What Age Group and Demographics Can I Expect?
Our tours attract a mix of families, couples, and solo travelers.
Average age: 20–60 years.
Children under 2 are not allowed on group tours (private trips can be arranged)
Do You Offer Payment Plans?

If you miss your flight or bus, you’ll need to book a new ticket at your own cost. We’ll assist where possible, but no-shows are non-refundable.

What Happens If My Passport Expires Soon?
Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months after your return date. We’ll advise if renewal is needed.

Unique KayBee Events, Travels and Tours – Cancellation & Refund Policy Please read this policy carefully before making a booking. By confirming your booking, you agree to the terms outlined below.
General Terms
All cancellations must be submitted in writing via email to info@uniquekaybee.co.za.
The following cancellation fees apply to the full value of the booking:
Notice Period Before Departure – Cancellation Fee
More than 60 working days 25% of total booking value
60–45 working days 50% of total booking value
44–21 working days75% of total booking value
20 working days or less / No-show100% of total booking value
Deposits
All deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable to another trip, event, or client.
Failure to make full payment by the due date (30 days before departures ) may result in automatic cancellation, and the deposit will be forfeited.
No Notification / Non-Payment
If you fail to notify us of cancellation or changes after a booking is confirmed, or if you request a reservation but do not make payment, 10% of the total booking amount will be charged as an administrative fee.
Company-Initiated Cancellations
Unique KayBee Events, Travels and Tours reserves the right to cancel any trip or event at any time due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., safety concerns, supplier issues, force majeure).
In such cases, clients will be offered:
A full refund within 20 -50 working days, as per client payment plan or
An alternative trip/event of equal value (subject to availability).
Refund Processing
Approved refunds will be processed after 30 working days from the date of confirmation, and will be paid in accordance with a payment plan.
Refunds will be made via the original payment method unless otherwise agreed.
Legal Compliance
This policy is aligned with:
Consumer Protection Act (CPA) 68 of 2008 (South Africa) – ensuring fair cancellation terms and disclosure.
Tourism Act 3 of 2014 – compliance with travel and tour operator obligations.
Force Majeure Clause – covering events beyond our control (natural disasters, pandemics, government restrictions).
Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend that all clients purchase comprehensive travel insurance to cover cancellations, medical emergencies, and other unforeseen events.
